At Emerald Coast Silent Events, our story is a heartfelt reflection of our deep roots in the Fort Walton Beach community, where connection and celebration come together in unique ways. We pride ourselves on being active community members and ambassadors for the Greater Fort Walton Beach Chamber of Commerce, wholeheartedly dedicated to enhancing the vibrant spirit of our hometown through engaging events.

John Hunter has long been a beloved figure in our community, known for his unwavering commitment to nurturing young minds as an art teacher and sports coach. He has made a memorable impact at Shalimar Elementary with his engaging Art in Action program and has cultivated athletic talent at Meigs Middle School through coaching soccer, track and cross-country. Since retiring, John has embraced his passion for music and entertainment as a local DJ, performing under the name Wub Control. Through countless events and silent discos, he has become a familiar face, bringing joy and connection to our community in a whole new way.

Jennica Hunter, a proud native of Fort Walton Beach, carries a profound love for her hometown that inspires everything she does. After exploring the vibrant streets of New York City, Boston, and Denver to develop her skills and build her career in marketing startegy, Jennica returned to Fort Walton Beach, eager to infuse her experiences and knowledge into the community she holds dear. Together with John, she shares a vision of creating unforgettable experiences through silent events that foster connection and engagement. With their combined dedication, John and Jennica strive to unite our community through joyful, inclusive gatherings that celebrate the unique spirit of our treasured hometown.
